Our Staff
Dr. Cuong M. Nguyen
Dr. Cuong Nguyen was trained at the University of Texas in the Houston Medical Center receiving honors in developmental biology and gynecology. He did his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UNM in Albuquerque. Among his awards there were the Best Resident Teacher Award and the prestigious Special Excellence in Endoscopy award by the American Society of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. He has been in private practice in the Houston area for the last sixteen years, and has helped to deliver over three thousand babies. His special interest is in the application of computer science and ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology. His specialty is in minimally invasive endoscopic surgery. His extracurricular activities include marathons, triathlons, and biking. You can catch him early before work on most days on his bike or on training runs around his neighborhood.
